Six
childhood friends have been playing together in the same football
team for 15 years.
As
they're now in their late twenties and either married, about to
be married, about to be father and/or struggling to keep their business
going, getting up early on sunday and spending the better part of
the day with the lads just doesn't hold the same attraction any
more.
While
Erik, the unofficial team leader, fights to keep the team going,
the others are facing some difficult decisions in their personal
lives as well.
They finally decide to play one last match, realising that last
match also represents their farewell to their youth...
'Team
Spirit' has elements of great ensemble films such as 'St. Elmo's
Fire' and 'Peter's Friends' with generous helpings of 'Friends'.
'Team Spirit' is a dramedy about friendship, loyalty, football,
and making choices.
